Sum

One private picture of your day, on devices you own.

Sum gathers your schedule, tasks, health and activity into a personal knowledge graph you can reflect on and plan from. It runs on your own computer, phone and other devices, keeps your data on them, and syncs between them over an end-to-end encrypted connection. No cloud service holds your data.

Your accounts and devices

You choose what Sum sees. It can draw on the calendars and task lists you already keep, the health and fitness data your phone and wearables record, the places your phone spends time, the financial accounts you link, and the activity, photos and notes you add yourself. Every connection is read-only: Sum shows this information alongside the rest of your day and never changes anything in the accounts you connect.

Accounts are connected with each provider's standard OAuth 2.0 sign-in, so you sign in on the provider's own page and Sum never sees your password. What is accessed and where it is kept is set out, provider by provider, in the Privacy Policy.

Under the hood

Sum is built on Hippocentaur, Claro LLC's local-first engine: the personal daemon, its private knowledge graph, the on-device AI models and the peer-to-peer sync that connects your devices. That is why the sign-in and device-finding services that help Sum work live at hippocentaur.ai.
