Terms of Service
Last updated September 22, 2026
These terms cover your use of Sum and the supporting services at hippocentaur.ai (together, “the services”), provided by Claro LLC, a limited liability company in Texas, USA(“we”). By using the services you agree to these terms.
What Sum is
Sum is software that runs on devices you own and keeps your data on them. Our hosted services only help your devices sign in to accounts you choose to connect, find each other, and download public reference files. How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Your data and your accounts
- Your data is yours. We claim no rights over it.
- You are responsible for the devices Sum runs on, including keeping them secure and backed up. We cannot recover data for you, because we do not hold it.
- Only connect accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to use. Your use of a connected service, such as Google, remains subject to that service's own terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the hosted services: do not attempt to disrupt them, access them other than through Sum, get around their rate limits, or use them to break the law or infringe the rights of others. We may limit or suspend access to the hosted services to protect them or other users.
Early software
Sum is under active development. Features may change or be removed, and the hosted services may be interrupted or discontinued. Where we can, we will give notice of changes that affect you.
No warranty
The services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sum is not a medical, legal or financial advisor, and nothing it shows you should be relied on as professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the services.
Ending use
You can stop using Sum at any time by disconnecting your accounts and removing it from your devices. The Privacy Policy explains how to revoke access and delete your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
